Janu’s Retreat

Escape to Janu’s Retreat, a beautifully remodeled five-bedroom, three-bath cabin in Ruidoso’s peaceful Upper Mechem area. Surrounded by mountain scenery and frequent visits from deer, elk, wild turkeys, and horses, this inviting getaway offers the perfect blend of comfort, privacy, and year-round adventure.

Designed for families and groups, the cabin features a fully equipped kitchen and two spacious living areas—one upstairs and one downstairs—giving everyone plenty of room to relax. Each level opens to its own quiet back porch, while two private decks provide ideal spots for morning coffee, outdoor meals, or wildlife watching.

The primary bedroom includes a queen-size bed and a beautifully remodeled en suite bathroom. Four additional guest rooms offer queen beds or twin-bed arrangements that are perfect for children. All three bathrooms have been, updated with a full bath conveniently located near the guest bedrooms.

Outside, fire up the propane grill and enjoy a meal with the outdoor furniture in Ruidoso’s comfortable mountain climate, or head out to explore nearby restaurants. Other options include a peaceful stroll through the neighborhood, hiking trails, skiing, golf, fishing, tubing, casinos, and shopping.

With beautiful weather and activities in every season, Janu’s Retreat is an ideal home base for your Ruidoso escape. Come stay awhile and start “Stressing Less and Daydreaming More!”
